 | Empty Dirt Receptacle
To maintain optimal performance of your central vacuum system, the dirt receptacle should be emptied every 25 hours of use (approximately 6 months). If you have pets, a workshop or other factors that cause waste more frequently, you may wish to check the dirt receptacle more frequently. If you have a Oxygen ZCV920H, an indicator will flash on the LCD screen when the dirt receptacle needs emptied. Once the dirt receptacle is emptied, push the Reset button to reset the unit. |  | Filter Maintenance
The internal filter on both Oxygen central vacuum systems is permanent and self cleaning and therefore requires no maintenance. However, if you have questions about your permanent self-cleaning filter, please contact your local Electrolux service technician. |  | Paper Bag Filters
The volume of the optional paper bag for the ZCV920H and the ZCV910 is 5 gallons (22 liters). A full dust bag reduces the systems performance. Depending on how often you use your central vacuum system, the dust bag may need to be changed 2-3 times per year. Replacement paper bags are sold on the online Store.
Instructions for changing the dust bag: - Remove the power unit dirt receptacle.
- Loosen the dust bag from the intake tube, remove and dispose.
- Place and press the new dust bag firmly into the tube. Turn the dust bag’s opening to make it fasten firmly on the tube.
- Put the dirt receptacle back on the central power unit.
|  | Life Meter
The LCD panel on the ZCV920H has a life meter. The life meter has 8 bars on it. Once these bars are depleted your unit will continue to run, although it is strongly recommended to take it to your local service center to be inspected and serviced. A life bar will deplete every 65 hours of vacuum use, meaning your central vacuum will have a long life of service to you. The life meter can be reset only by your service technician. |  | Service Indicator
If there is a system fault, or malfunction with your power unit, the service indicator on your ZCV920H will flash. Upon seeing this symbol, we recommend that you turn the power unit off, unplug the power supply for 10 seconds and then plug it back in. If the service symbol is still on the screen, we recommend that you call for service. This symbol may appear due to the following faults: - Motor problem
- Electronic problem
- Voltage or current problem (too high or too low)
- Power unit not responding to electronics
| Electrolux Oxygen Air Purifier
 | To maintain optimal performance of your Oxygen Ultra Air Purifier: - Place unit at least 7 feet from equipment that emits electric waves, such as televisions or radios.
- Place unit at least 2 feet from the wall.
- Keep sensors away from drafty areas.
- Keep curtains away from air purifier, as they may interfere with air intake/outlet.
- Place unit on a stable surface with plenty of air circulation.
|  | Cleaning
Clean unit as necessary by wiping with a dry, soft cloth; for stubborn stains, use a warm, damp cloth. Do not use volatile fluids such as benzene, paint thinner, or scouring powder, as they may damage the surface. Keep the unit dry. Lightly vacuum Dust Sensor every three months after removing the front panel. |  | Filter Care
The FILTER indicator will signal when to replace the HEPA Filter. The replacement period will vary depending on the hours of usage, air quality and location of the unit. However, most filters in normal use need to be replaced every 12 months.
There are two separate filters: HEPA and Carbon Filter. For best performance, change the Carbon Filter every three months. Do not wash and reuse Carbon Filter as it will not work effectively.
